Fran and Jane Routledge welcome you to Purbeck Safari.

Join us as we take you on safari to explore the stunning Purbeck Hills and rare lowland heaths in our iconic Land Rover Defender.

Starting in Wareham, the gateway to this beautiful and un-spoilt corner of Dorset, you'll travel across the heathland of the Arne peninsula, home to rare birds of prey including Osprey, Merlin and Peregrine and a spectacular array of wetland birds such as Spoonbill and Avocet. Then via Corfe Castle you'll explore the incredible chalk and limestone ridges of the Purbeck Hills and learn something of the geology, people, fauna and flora that make this landscape so special.

Every safari will bring something fresh and surprising, as you encounter the plant life and wildlife that inhabits the area and which changes through the seasons and learn a little of the history of those who have lived and worked in the Isle of Purbeck and have helped shape it.
