CANCELLATION POLICY & REFUNDS

  1. One thing we can’t guarantee is fine weather and safaris will go ahead come rain or shine, though we will cancel in the event of any extreme weather warnings and will try and give you as much notice as possible if this is the case. In the event of an extreme weather warning, you would of course be entitled to either a full refund or if you prefer, to transfer the booking to an alternative day.

  2. Payments will only be refunded if the safari is cancelled with a minimum of 10 days notice before the date of the safari.

  3. Note that we will not issue refunds for issues beyond our control on the day, such as bad weather, road closures or traffic accidents.

  4. We will issue a full refund if the safari is cancelled by you with more than 10 days notice, or in the event that we cannot deliver the safari due to our illness or vehicle breakdown. In the event of illness or vehicle breakdown we will attempt to give you as much notice as possible to enable you to potentially move to an alternative date.

  5. Full refunds will be issued if government restrictions due to Covid-19 come into force which do not permit us to run the safari.

GENERAL SAFARI INFORMATION

  1. We can take multiple parties each day, so consumption of food and beverages (apart from water) is not allowed inside the vehicle.

  2. As we travel over farmland with livestock and wild animals present and do make stops in various places of interest, we do not accommodate pets on the safaris.

  3. Safaris are undertaken at the guest’s own risk. Due to the nature of the off-road vehicle we are unable to cater directly for people with impaired mobility. However we always do our utmost to accommodate your requirements so do call us to talk about your needs. The vehicle is equipped with side and rear steps and we can provide an additional step if required, but you must be able to bear your own weight.

  4. The Land Rover will seat up to 6 passengers, so we can accommodate parties of 2-6 people. Currently because of COVID restrictions, we only take single group bookings, so you do not have to share with another group (e.g. 2 groups of 2)

  5. The routes start and end in Wareham and we use a mixture of public roads, lanes, old cross-country byways and farm tracks to cover the Purbeck area. The safaris are very gentle-paced as we want everyone to enjoy the experience and even on the rougher off-road sections you will not get thrown around, though it’s obviously very uneven in places.

  6. Tea, coffee and home-made cake is provided on the 3-hour safari.

  7. We recommend sturdy footwear that you don't mind getting muddy.
